About Dr. McCready

I came to my first Chiropractor in a wheelchair, after 6 years of failed medical care following a high school soccer injury. I had seen many doctors and therapists with no results. During my treatment for my injuries. I asked about going to a chiropractor. However, I was discouraged. One doctor told me “Chiropractors are nice but they’re killers “.

My last visit to my orthopedic surgeon ended on a low note. He told me that they had run every test they could think of and could find nothing medically wrong with me. So, he wanted me to visit the psychiatrist.

I knew I wasn’t crazy, and the pain was real. So, I decided to go to a chiropractor as a last resort. Lo and behold, after six months of treatment I was up and out of the wheelchair and feeling 100% better.

I matriculated to Palmer Chiropractic College in 1981. I became the Doctor for the Palmer College National Rugby Team Champions in 1983. Rugby is a very tough and physical sport. My experience with Rugby showed him that most players do not suffer serious injuries during the game. Fractures and dislocations are rare. However, subluxations of the joints occur in almost every game. Subluxation is a misalignment of any joint that is not a dislocation. It can be small or large on the verge of dislocation). We have all heard of severe athletic subluxations: “Turf Toe”, “High Ankle Sprain”, “Tennis Elbow”, “Hip Pointer”, … Subluxations may or may not be painful, but always decrease the function of the Joint and reduce the athlete’s ability to perform. Adjusting toes, ankles, Knees, Hips, Wrists, elbows, Sholders, and Backs after every game helps eliminate subluxations, which I performed on all the players.

I started practicing in 1985. My experience with athletes gave him the opportunity in 1986 to become the chiropractor for the 1986 National Championship Philadelphia 76ers. I saw Dr J, Charles Barkley, Jeff Ruland, and other players at practice every day. In 1987 I became the Chiropractor for Boardway in New York. Caring for Stars on weekends: Joel, Gray, Allison Ree, Werner Kemper…

Fortunately for me, my private practice grew quickly. I had to resign from my duties as the team Chiropractor and Chiropractor for Boardway. In practice I have helped 1,000 patients with every condition you can think of. I brought back a car accident victim’s eyesight and a deaf man’s hearing and have gotten many patients out of wheelchairs and off canes.

After almost 40 years of practice, I know that there are millions of people who are suffering from pain and disease that could be relieved through chiropractic care.
